news

i know i'm being really lazy with my updates... i will try to do a news report kinda thing... so everybody is up to date ;)
- monday: i didn't have an exam, as i was mentioning the other week - i wasn't lying, they just changed the schedule -really! but you know - no complains here ;)
- tuesday: matt and i watched the first extrapolations of the elections live on cnn. i have to admit i was really excited. fell asleep around 1am though.
- wednesday: at 5am we turned on the tv for about 10 seconds just to realize obama won (or at least was very close to the winning point). reason enough to go back to bed ;) to wake up only 2 hours later to get a morning starbucks (morning date, remember?) to celebrate the new president. in the evening we ordered pizza, that we had to wait for for almost 2 hours (no, that's not normal) and drank a bottle of sekt while watching obamas and mccain's speeches.
- thursday: my boss was not in the office so it was kind of... quite in the office :) not the worse thing...
- friday: sitting in the office, all alone. short day today. hmmm - that's all (as the devil would say ;))

ich weiß ich bin total nachlässig, was meine posterei angeht, deshalb gibts neue einen post im nachrichtenstil:
- montag: ich hatte keine prüfung, wie ursprünglich angekündigt. die haben den plan einfach geändert - soll mir auch recht sein.
- dienstag: matt und ich haben auf cnn die ersten hochrechnungen für die präsidentenwahl in den usa angeschaut (um kurz vor 1 hab ich dann aber doch auch aufgegeben)
- mittwoch:um 5 in der früh hat matt kurz den fernseher eingeschaltet, den wir ziemlich bald wieder ausgeschaltet haben, nachdem klar war, dass obama gewinnen wird. 2 stunden später sind wir dann doch aufgestanden, um mit einem starbucks auf den neuen präsidenten anzustoßen (auch bekannt als morgendliches date :)). am abend haben wir zur feier des tages pizza bestellt, die 2 stunden gebraucht hat, um zu uns zu finden. dazu haben wir eine flasche sekt geleert und haben obamas und mccains reden angeschaut. das war ein toller tag...
- donnerstag: boss war nicht im büro, daher wars ziemlich ruhig. an sich nicht schlecht, aber die zeit vergeht halt auch ziemlich langsam dadurch...
- Freitag: sitze im office, alles ruhig, keiner da. auch nicht schlecht :) das ist alles (würde zumindest der teufel sagen ;))
