my driver - mein fahrer

matt has his drivers licence since he is 14, hence 10 years, already. driving in austria and driving in america are 2 different worlds.
we got indy almost 2 months ago (it didn't break down yet - yey :)) and matt was not as comfortable driving in vienna as he is now. what i want to say is: matt adjusted to austrian standards very well and quickly and i feel very safe driving with him although he is sometimes as crazy as the viennese people which is prob more scary than fun (although i thought it was fun so far...) but if matt wants to tell this story - i just say kahlenberg - i want to let him tell it since i don't know if he wants to share this story.
long story short: i'm glad matt is as comfortable driving in vienna as he is so i don't have to drive myself :)
matt hat seinen führerschein seit er 14 ist - also schon 10 jahre. auto fahren in österreich und auto fahren in amerika sind 2 verschiedene paar schuhe.
wir haben indy seit fast 2 monaten (und er hat noch immer nicht kaputt :)). matt hat sich (was auch normal ist) am anfang nicht so wohl gefühlt, in wien zu fahren. was ich sagen will ist: er hat sich total schnell and wiener verhältnisse gewöhnt und ich fühl mich sicher und wohl, wenn er mich herum kutschiert ). manchmal allerdings wird er ein bissl zu wienerisch und es passieren sachen, die sind eher angst einflößend als lustig - ich sag nur kahlenberg - aber ich will ihn die geschichte selbst erzählen lassen, wenn er will, weil ich nicht weiß, ob ihm das recht ist, wenn ich das hier jetzt ausplaudere.
langer rede kurzer sinn: ich bin froh, dass matt sich sicher genug fühlt, in wien zu fahren - also muß ichs nicht selbst erledigen :)
