vacation plans - urlaubspläne

matt gave me a one hour headstart on this one so i better explain quick :)

we will be married for a year next month (time is flying by...) and i wanted to do something special but couldn't come up with anything cool. as luck would have it my accountant told me last week that the tax office owes me money. they owe me more than i expected. anyways...

since i've known matt he has talked about the pyramides and going there one day as long as we live in europe (since it's cheaper to go there from here than from the states).

so i thought i could surprise him and invite him to a 5 day long egypt trip over our wedding anniversery. today we booked our trip and we are staying in a 4 star hotel close to the pyramids so we can go visit them every day. matt is pretty damn excited and im glad i could be the "fairy godmother" ;)

nachdem wir nächstes monat schon ein jahr verheiratet sind (die zeit vergeht...) und ich etwas besonderes zu unserem hochzeitstag machen wollte, aber keine eingebung hatte, hat mir fortuna ein bisschen geholfen. meine steuerberaterin hat mich letzte woche angerufen und mir erklärt, dass ich vom finanzamt geld zurückbekomme. viel mehr als erwartet... wie auch immer...

seit ich matt kenne redet er davon, dass er mal nach ägyten will und die pyramiden sehen will. und das wollte er machen, solange wir noch in europa leben, nachdem es von hier aus viel billiger ist dorthin zu kommen, als von amerika aus.

also hab ich mir gedacht, ich überrasche ihn, und lade ihn zu einem 5tägigen trip nach ägypten ein. wir haben heute gebucht und werden in einem 4sterne hotel in der nähe der pyramiden bleiben, sodass wir jeden tag seine pyramiden besuchen können :) matt ist ziemlich aufgeregt und ich bin froh, dass ich die "gute fee" spielen durfte :)
