my old drivers license - mein alter führerschein

here in austria we have a bigger drivers license than you have in the states. plus they are pink :)

since i got married, i have a new last name (awhile now already) and i was just too lazy or something to get a new one. it is no big deal cause the drivers license is still valid, it's just no official photo identification anymore.

so 2 weeks ago i decided to get my new license finally. austria introduced new drivers licences earlier in the year (i think it was in march) that are the same format as a checkcard and kind of look like the american ones (except they are still pink...),

i will just post my old drivers license and then a pic of the new one. and just to be clear on that: i don't want anyone to make fun of the colour. thank you.

nachdem die amis nicht wissen, wie unser alter führerschein aussieht, hab ich mir gedacht, dass es nett wäre, einen post darüber zu schreiben. ich hab mich vor 2 wochen dazu aufgerafft, einen neuen zu holen (mit titel :) das wird der einzige ausweis mit titel bleiben...).

es ist in wirklichkeit kein problem, mit dem alten herumzulaufen und du kannst auch autofahren. das einzige, das mich da stört ist, dass es kein amtlicher lichbilausweis mehr ist (aber wer weiss denn, dass du einen neuen namen trägst... naja egal...) jedenfalls hab ich mir gedacht, dass es euch vielleicht interessiert, den neuen führerschein zu sehen. bild unten :)
