hedgehog - igel

yesterday on the way home from a soccer game matt and i saw a little hedgehog right infront of our house. i took a picture - naturally. but i remembered a story that i think i haven't shared yet. years ago, i think it was 2005 when matt and richard visited me in austria the first time. i showed them around vienna and carinthia. one night in carinthia, we were in a car with elli (elli and me in the front, richard and matt in the back sears) and it was dark already. all of the sudden, elli and i yelled "igel" so matt and richard looked up, looking for an eagle (same pronounciation but meaning something completely different) while elli and i where all amazed by the little hedgehog. it was funny...
gestern sind matt und ich spät nach einem fussballmatch heimgekommen und haben vor unserem haus einen kleinen igel entdeckt - ich hab natürlich sofort ein foto gemacht. aber ich hab mich an eine geschichte erinnert, die ich glaube ich noch nicht erzählt habe. ich glaube es war 2005, als matt und richard mich das erste mal besucht haben, ich habe ihnen natürlich auch kärnten gezeigt und so sind wir mit elli eines abends im auto gesessen, am weg zu ihrer wohnung, es war schon dunkel. plötzlich rufen elli und ich gleichzeitig "igel!" - und was machen matt und richard? - schauen nach oben und halten ausschau nach einem adler (adler heißt auf einglisch eagle und wird wie "igel" ausgesprochen)... jaja, das war lustig :)
