our guests from the u.s. arrived safely two hours ago. they also brought gifts from back home... and one gift i'm very excited about - a quilt from grandma g.. last time i was in the u.s. i saw her giving ilkan a quilt and it looked amazing and cozy, so i asked her if she would make one for me too... and she did :)

unsere gäste aus den usa sind vor zwei stunden sicher gelandet. sie haben uns auch geschenke mitgebracht (geschenke, geschenke! :))... und über ein geschenk freue ich mich besonders - ein quilt von oma g.. letztes mal, als wir in den usa waren, war ich dabei, wie sie ilkan einen quilt als geburtstagsgeschenk überreicht hat... der hat super ausgesehen (thema: thomas the train) und war weich und kuschelig... also hab ich sie gefragt, ob sie mir auch einen machen würde... und das hat sie :)

Ich bin zwar nicht die Oma Gottsch, an die der Dank gerichtet ist, aber das Muster sieht wirklich gut aus, und zum bevorstehenden Fest passend.
