christmas-season - weihnachtszeit

i can tell it's almost christmas season. first of all the sun went on vacation. i'm serious. i mean it is light outside (after all im not living in iceland) but the sun never burns through that fog. so really, it seems like the sun is going down right now already again (note: it's 2:30pm). second: it is getting cold (and i guess there is a relation between no sun and it being cold... but who knows ;)). that's not negative at all, especially since i have lots of warm coats and pullovers at home :) and third: my boss is freaking out. it's always around that time a year when he realizes the year is going to end (surprises him every single year... amazing). so it's not very much fun right now. but i treated myself with a starbucks coffee this morning and rally it's almost weekend. it all has it's up's and down's... man, that's gonna be a long ass time till christmas.

ich sags euch, man merkt, dass bald weihnachten ist. erstens ist die sonner im urlaub, wie es scheint, weil ich schon einige tage schon keine sonner mehr gesehen hab. klar ist es hell, aber wo zum teuel ist die sonne? zweitens ist es kalt. das hat wohl auch ein bisschen was mit der sonne, die im urlaub ist, zu tun. aber gegen kalt hab ich prinzipiell nix, hab ja viele warme sachen zu hause im schrank :) und drittens: mein chef ist am ausflippen. jedes jahr um diese zeit fällt ihm auf, dass das jahr bald zu ende ist (ist das nicht eine große überraschung? jedes jahr die gleiche überraschung. ich wäre auch schockiert an seiner stelle). also ist es gar nicht so lustig hier. aber dafür hab ich mich heute früh mit einem starbucks kaffee schon mal profilaktisch belohnt. und überhaupt ist schon fast wochenende. alles hat seine vor- und nachteile... mann, es ist noch eine ewig lange zeit bis weihnachten.
