handmade

a couple weeks ago i put in an order at a german onlineshop for oils, butters and trays to make new soap that would look a little more professional, you know (not that i want to sell any of this...). so today i finally got out the first patch of soap that i made a two weekends ago. i didn't want to ruin the new tray so i was being careful (and actually put the whole thing in the freezer before i tried). it is honey soap since that is the soap i got the best feedback from. also, i tried to put some coloring in which didn't work out that well (there is a little bit of yellow at the bottom) but i'm still improving :). tomorrow i will make lavender soap and i hope it will turn out just as nicely as this one, or even nicer... :)vor ein paar wochen hab ich in einem deutschen onlineshop eine größere bestellung aufgegeben für öle, buttern und seifenformen. naja, ich wollte die seife etwas "professioneller" aussehen lassen (nicht, dass ich vorhätte, sie zu verkaufen...). also hab ich heute endlich die erste ladung seife aus der form befreit, die ich vor 2 wochenenden geseift habe. ich wollte die neue form nicht gleich ruinieren, also hab ich mir ein bissl zeit gelassen mit dem rauslösen (und hab sie vorher sogar eingefroren...). ich habe honigseife gemacht, nachdem die bisher am besten angekommen ist. ich hab außerdem versucht, die seife gelb zu marmorieren, was leider nicht so gut geklappt hat, aber übung macht den meister (der seifenleim war leider schon zu fest...) also ist die seife am boden ein bisschen gelb. morgen mach ich lavendelseife und ich hoffe, sie wird so schön die die honigseife. oder noch schöner... :)
