sauwetter

this morning we had "sauweather" (beastly weather) and early in the morning i was discussing with myself, wheather it was neccessary to go to work or not. it was. matt had to go to the office today even before me so i was wondering, if he even made it there (he did). this morning we had lots of snow flying around and heavy wind (80km/h if the weatherman on the radio was right). when you look out our kitchen window i have perfect sight to the "windcanal" in our district of houses, only the view out there... brrr (the temperatures wheren't that bad, only -2°c, but with the wind it is really bad). well, i didn't put on make-up which was smart, otherwise i would have arrived the office as a "sad clown". meanwhile it has been clearing up, right now it is not snowing anymore and the wind is not as harsh in the first district. nevertheless it is time for a change. i want warmer wheather. but i fear we have to be a little more patient for that to happen.

heute in der früh war echt scheußliches wetter und ich hab wirklich mit mir diskutiert, ob ich da raus muss. musste ich. matt musste sogar vor mir. und ich hab mir schon gedanken gemacht, ob er es ins büro geschafft hat (hat er). heute früh war ein schneetreiben und starke windböen (80km/h wenn man dem wetterbericht glauben darf - auch, wenn ich meinen augen trauen darf...). wenn man bei uns beim küchenfenster rausschaut, sehen wir direkt zum "windkanal" - allein der anblick...brrrr (temperaturmäßig wars nicht so schlimm - nur -2°C, aber der wind machts...). nun ja, ich hab mich vorsorglich nicht geschminkt, was auch gut war, denn sonst wäre ich wie ein trauriger clown im büro angekommen. inzwischen hat sich das wetter gebessert, es schneit nicht mehr und im 1. bezirk windet es auch nicht sehr stark. trotzdem wird es zeit, dass es etwas taut. aber ich glaube, da müssen wir uns alle noch in etwas geduld üben.
